This event sets the initiation of a long term discussion aiming at questioning the complex relationships between language and culture in the context of teaching and learning English in Latin America.

The panel members are anthropologist Dr. Juan Carlos Skewes from Universidad Alberto Hurtado, linguist Dr. Miguel Farías from Universidad de Santiago, and teacher educator Dr. Telma Gimenez from University of Londrina, Brazil.
